The blood-forming tissue housed inside spongy bone is called red bone marrow. It is responsible for producing red blood cells, white blood cells, and platelets through a process called hematopoiesis.
In early development, bone tissue is made mostly of a type of connective tissue called cartilage. This cartilage serves as a precursor to bone formation and provides structural support during bone development. Over time, the cartilage is gradually replaced by mineralized bone tissue through a process known as endochondral ossification.
The tissue type composed of Haversian systems is called compact bone or cortical bone. It is a dense, hard tissue that provides strength and support to the skeletal system. Haversian systems, also known as osteons, are repeating units within compact bone that contain concentric layers of mineralized bone tissue surrounding a central canal with blood vessels and nerves.

Cells that break down bone tissue are called osteoclasts. They are specialized cells responsible for resorption of bone tissue during bone remodeling and repair processes.
Bone cells are called osteocytes, and the matrix of the bone is made of calcium salts and collagen. Bone tissue is the major structural and supportive connective tissue of the body.
The soft tissue in bone cavities is called "Marrow". It produces blood cells and stores fat in the body.
The hard, dense bone tissue with few spaces is called compact bone. It provides strength and support to the skeletal system.
Spongy bone tissue is not as highly arranged as compact bone tissue because it doesn't do as much of the weight supporting function as compact bone. Its tissue is arranged in a sponge-like pattern of bony plates called trabeculae. The spaces between these trabeculae are filled with bone marrow which is where our blood cells are made. Spongy bone makes up most of the tissue of flat, short, and irregularly shaped bones.
Bone remodeling refers to the two-step process in which bone tissue is constantly broken down and rebuilt by specialized cells called osteoclasts and osteoblasts. Osteoclasts break down old or damaged bone tissue in a process called resorption, while osteoblasts build new bone tissue in a process called formation.

There really is not a term called common bone tissue. Bone tissue and blood (also a tissue) are called simple because they have so few other elements than their cells.
