Pacific time is GMT -7. Currently the UK is on British Summer Time (GMT +1) and so 10 AM Pacific Time is equivalent to 6PM BST. Steve Job's Apple keynote speech is due to start at 10AM Pacific Time today. Anyone in the UK wanting to find out about the iPhone 2 should start reading the MacWorld, Engadget etc blogs at 6 tonight... If you want! Cheers, Jon

10am EST is equal to 3pm GMT. This is because Eastern Standard Time (EST) is 5 hours behind Greenwich Mean Time (GMT).
