Protect the Earth. A car's gas burns part of the atmosphere. If the atmosphere disolves or goes away, then the sun could damage the Earth or the north and south poles could change. Then compasses and electric stuff would not work. The atmosphere is very important to Earth.

The atmosphere plays a crucial role in maintaining Earth's temperature by trapping heat from the sun. It also protects us from harmful solar radiation and space debris. Additionally, the atmosphere helps regulate the water cycle and weather patterns.

What is the astmosphere of mars?

It is made out of carbon dioxide.

What planet has a satellite with an astmosphere?

Saturn. Titan is the only satellite known to have atmosphere.

What are the conditions like on the planet Jupiter?

Being a gas planet made of mostly Hydrogen and Helium with ice crystals of Ammonia, Jupiter has no solid surface. Because of it's quick rotation, the winds whipped up by the turning cause streaking across the surface of different colours from dust and gases. The winds on the planet reach 220 Miles per second with extreme pressure in the astmosphere. The red spot has been ravaging the planet for over 400yrs. The gase rings however are so stable and unchanging that scientist have been able to name then and easily monitor them.

Why does the surface of earths moon preserve a record of almost all the impacts it has had?

Because it has no astmosphere.

What is the astmosphere layer including the ozone layer?

The atmosphere is a blanket of air surrounding earth. The ozone layer is a part of it in stratosphere.

The astmosphere is almost 80 percent?

Nitrogen in the atmosphere represents about 78%. Oxygen is the second most common element representing about 21%.

Does the asteroid belt have an astmosphere?

No. The asteroid belt is not an object but a region with more asteroids than the rest of the solar system. Asteroids themselves have too little gravity to have atmospheres.

Why don't we run out of the importanat gases that we need to stay alive?

Because new gas is produced as a part of a cycle.

What does astmosphere mean?

The atmosphere is the layers of gases surrounding a planet or celestial body, held in place by gravity. On Earth, the atmosphere plays a crucial role in regulating temperature, protecting life from harmful radiation, and supporting weather patterns.

Why doesn't our Astmosphere get attracted to Jupiter which has 2.34 times the gravity of earth?

The force of gravity between two objects is proportional to the mass divided by the distance SQUARED. Yes, Jupiter's mass is great - but Jupiter is, at its closest, almost 700 million miles away. Earth and its gravity are right here. When it comes to gravity, Jupiter exerts approximately ZERO force on anything on Earth.

What impact does burning sugar cane fields have on the migration of microbes?

Burning sugar cane fields can release pollutants into the air and soil, which can disrupt the migration patterns of microbes by altering their habitats and food sources. The heat from burning can also affect the composition and diversity of microbial communities in the soil, potentially leading to changes in ecosystem functioning.

Explain why Venus is hotter than it would be if it had no astmosphere?

It is similar to a greenhouse here on earth or your house if you open the blinds on a sunny day. The greenhouse (or your house) gets hotter than it is outside. The suns rays heat the crust of the planet and the atmosphere is acting as the glass in the greenhouse example. So the planet surface heats up and the heat is trapped in by the thick atmosphere. Conversely, this is why Mars is so much colder than it could be. The extreme opposite is Mercury. The closest planet to the sun, yet there is frozen ice in the shadows that are created by the craters on its surface! Burn to death in the sun, freeze to death in the shade.
