Various drugs can affect homeostasis. For example extasy can mess up the hormone that tells your kidneys how much water you need (ADH). So your body keeps absorbing more and more water and if you don't get rid of the water it can cause your brain to swell and you to dye after experiencing a lot of pain.

Disruption of homeostasis can lead to various health issues and diseases. For example, if body temperature regulation is impaired, it can result in fever or hypothermia. Similarly, if blood glucose levels are not maintained, it can lead to conditions like Diabetes.

It would die.

What might happen to a protein if homeostasis is disrupted and way it will be happen?

Disruption in protein homeostasis leads to the appearance and accumulation of intermediate nonnative conformations that tend to form oligomeric and aggregated species, which over time cause cellular injury.

What could happen if an organism is unable to maintain or achieve homeostasis?

It will die.

What happens to an organism if it homeostasis is disrupted and not restored?

If an organism's homeostasis is disrupted and not restored, it can lead to imbalances in internal conditions such as temperature, pH levels, or nutrient levels. This can result in cellular damage, organ dysfunction, and ultimately, death. The organism may experience a range of symptoms as its body struggles to cope with the disrupted homeostasis.

What can happen to ceels if homeostasis is disrupted?

If homeostasis is disrupted, cells can experience changes in their internal environment such as fluctuations in pH, temperature, or nutrient levels. This can lead to cellular dysfunction, damage, or death. Cells may struggle to carry out their normal functions, compromising overall organismal health.

What would happen to your body of you could not maintain homeostasis?

Homeostasis keeps your body stable even when things outside your body changes. This means without your homeostasis you will not survive!

How is homeostasis disrupted in a person who is anemic?

Anemia disrupts homeostasis by decreasing the amount of oxygen your blood can carry. This decreased capacity can lead to fatigue and slower thinking.

What would happen if body couldn't maintain homeostasis?

If the body can't maintain homeostasis, the organism could die because of lack of enzyme function.

What is maintained by the Endocrine system and Nervous system?

Homeostasis, dynamic equilibrium, steady state, coordination, regulation, human body, and heart. It can be disrupted by parasites, fungi, bacteria and viruses.
