No, mitochondria are not green. They are typically colorless or pale in color. The green color associated with some cells or tissues is often due to the presence of chloroplasts, not mitochondria.
Mosses belong to Plantae. So it have mitochondria
All mitochondria are from mother. No mitochondria inherit from father
it is the Mitochondria hope that help cause I'm studying it too
Mitochondria are colorless.
There is no specific color. Pale in color mostly

Mitochondria is like a bean and it has tubes inside of it that are called Cristae. It is normally orange-ish in color.
To find out if we have mitochondria, we add DCPIP. The tube that has the most mitochondria will change color most from Blue to Clear. This is because mitochondria has an enzyme called Succinic Dehydrogenase. This enzyme can be picked up by removing (2) Hydrogen atoms and the DCPIP picks those Hydrogen atoms up, becoming DCPIP2. Note that DCPIP is DARK BLUE, and DCPIP2 is CLEAR. So, when the hydrogen is picked up and DCPIP becomes DCPIP2, the color goes clearer, and so there is mitochondria present. Brown fat appears brown because it is filled with a high density of iron-containing mitochondria, which give it its color. These mitochondria generate heat through thermogenesis, helping to regulate body temperature in animals.
Cellular respiration occurs in the mitochondria.
1)Mitochondria occur in the cells of aerobic organisms with the exception of mammalian RBCs while Chloroplasts occur in the cells of green photosynthetic parts of plants. 2)Mitochondria is colorless while Chloroplasts is green in color. 3) Mitochondria's shape is rod-like or sausage-shaped while Chloroplasts are generally disc-like in outline. 4) Mitochondria liberate energy while Chloroplasts trap solar energy and convert it into chemical energy. 5) Mitochondria perform oxidation of food while Chloroplasts synthesize food by photosynthesis. 6) Mitochondria consumes O2 and liberate CO2 while Chloroplasts consumes CO2 and liberate O2.
