have a back up plan in case it does happen and listen to scientists advice and do as they say because they mainly know what they are doing (most of the time) don't stay behind because you can make things worse and its more hassle for other people

there really isn't a way to manage volcanoes the best way is to be prepared for it in case it ever happens near u.. always have several escape routes planned out.. to my knowledge scientists still don't have enough answers on volcano's
