The South Pole is at 90 degrees S latitude. The North Pole is at 90 degrees N latitude. All lines of longitude converge at both poles. The South Pole is located on the continent of Antarctica. Unless you are using a navigational aid such as a GPS or similar, there is a big marker and a sign indicating that you are at the South Pole.

At the South Pole, you can visit scientific research stations, take part in guided tours, experience the unique polar environment, see wildlife like penguins and seals, and marvel at the stunning scenery of Antarctica. Popular activities include skiing, ice climbing, and camping.

If you see penguins, and they are not in cages, and it is freezing, you must be in the South Pole.

Actually, the South Pole itself is too far inland for penguins. Penguins are confined to the coastal areas of the Antarctic. They are not found at the South Pole itself.

Since the South Pole is a bit similar to that of the North Pole, not much can be done, I'm afraid.
