∙ 12y agoThe four inner, rocky planets are also known as the terrestrial planets. These are; Mercury, Venus, Earth and Mars.
These have much smaller diameters than the outer gas giant planets (Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune)
The inner planets have higher densities than the outer planets, despite being smaller and much lower in mass.
The inner planets have a clearly defined surface.
The inner planets are warmer and are much closer to the sun. The closer to the sun the planet is, the shorter its orbit period.

∙ 12y agoMercury is a small, rocky planet close to the Sun, while Neptune is a large gas giant far from the Sun. Mercury has a thin atmosphere, while Neptune has a thick atmosphere composed mostly of hydrogen and helium. Mercury has no moons, while Neptune has 14 confirmed moons.
The first planet in our solar system is Mercury and the last planet is Neptune.
The first planet orbiting the sun is Mercury, and the last planet is Neptune. Mercury is the closest planet to the sun, while Neptune is the farthest.
Among the three its Mars, but in the solar system it is Mercury.
There are no planets in our solar system that start with the letter "N." The eight planets are Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune.
No, Neptune is the eighth planet from the sun in our solar system. The order of the planets from the sun, starting with the closest, is: Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune.
Neptune is a gas planet, but mercury is not. Mercury is a rocky inner planet, one of the four terrestrial planets.
Neptune is the farthest planet and Mercury is the closest planet.

They share in common that they are both planets orbiting the same star.
Mercury is the smallest of the eight planets, but is the closest. The furthest planet is Neptune, but its not the smallest.
Neptune is the eighth planet from the sun.just remember mervemjsun (mercury, venus, earth, mars, jupiter, saturn, uranus, neptune) which is the planets in order from the sun

No, its an inner planet, the inner planets are, Mercury, Venus, Earth and Mars, the outer planets are Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus and Neptune.
