∙ 6y agoThe eye contains three layers which are: the outer fibrous tunic, an intermediate vascular tunic, and an inner neural tunic (retina).
The outer fibrous tunic function is to serve as the sclera and cornea. The cornea serves as a opening to the eye and helps with thefocus of light rays. The sclera protects from large and small particles and provides a connection for extrinsic muscles.
The middle vascular tunic consists of three eye structures: choroid coat that helps to consumeexcess light, this is why the inside of the eye is dark and the ciliarry body which createsthe ciliary muscles and processes, and the iris which has smooth muscle controls the pupil size and also the colored part of the eye.
The inner nervous tunic contains the retina andthe visual receptor cells. This portion of the eye is made of different cell types like the nerve cell.

Molluscs typically have three main tissue layers: the outer layer (epidermis), middle layer (connective tissue), and inner layer (gastrodermis). These layers help provide structure and support to the mollusc's body.
Embryonic layers are the three primary layers of cells in the early embryo that give rise to all the tissues and organs in the body. These layers are the ectoderm (outer layer), mesoderm (middle layer), and endoderm (inner layer). During development, these layers differentiate and specialize to form various structures in the body.
The body of a sponge is made up of two main cell layers: the outer protective layer called the pinacoderm and the inner digestive layer called the choanoderm. These layers are separated by a jelly-like substance called mesohyl, which contains other cell types.
The cuticle, Huxley's layer, and Henle's layer are the three layers of the inner root sheath of a hair follicle. The inner root sheath surrounds the hair shaft and helps protect it as it grows.

The body has three tissue layers and a fluid-filled false body cavity, meaning the cavity is between the inner and middle layers rather than the middle layer and the outer layer, as it is in complex animals.

The Earth is composed of three layers. The lithosphere composes the crust or outer layer, the mantle the middle layer followed by the outer and inner core.
The three layers of the Earth from the outermost to the innermost are the crust, the mantle, and the core. The crust is the Earth's outer shell, the mantle is a semi-solid layer beneath the crust, and the core is the Earth's innermost layer, consisting of a solid inner core and a liquid outer core.
The three layers of the eye wall are the sclera (outer layer, white and tough), choroid (middle layer, rich in blood vessels), and retina (inner layer, contains light-sensitive cells). Each layer plays a crucial role in protecting the eye and enabling vision.
There are typically three main layers that form during embryonic development: the endoderm (inner layer), mesoderm (middle layer), and ectoderm (outer layer). These layers give rise to different tissues and organs in the developing embryo.
Venules are small blood vessels with three basic layers. These layers are an inner membrane called an endothelium, a middle layer of muscle tissue, and the outer layer, which is made of fibrous connective tissue.
The body wall of a cnidarian consists of three layers, an outer layer known as the epidermis, a middle layer called the mesoglea, and an inner layer referred to as the gastrodermis.
