∙ 15y agoThe formation of both the bonds is same but the term amide bond is used for simple molecules as CH3-CO-NH2 or CH3-CO-NH-CH3 etc. the term peptide bond is used for polymers where a large chain of polymer is formed due to amide bonds as in Di and poly peptide and also in proteins.

∙ 15y agoA peptide bond is a specific type of amide bond that forms between the carboxyl group of one amino acid and the amino group of another. The main structural difference is that a peptide bond involves two amino acids, while an amide bond can involve any two molecules with an amine and a carbonyl group. Peptide bonds are specifically found in proteins, while amide bonds can be found in a variety of organic compounds.

A peptide bond is the covalent bond formed between amino acids. This pepetide bond is the primary linkage between protein structures
The chemical bond between amino acids is called a peptide bond. This bond forms when the carboxyl group of one amino acid reacts with the amino group of another, resulting in the release of water molecules.
A dehydration synthesis reaction forms peptide bonds between amino acids by removing a water molecule. In this process, the carboxyl group of one amino acid reacts with the amine group of another amino acid, resulting in the formation of a peptide bond and a dipeptide molecule.
Yes, nucleic acids are formed with peptide bonds. A peptide bond is a bond between a nitogen and a phosphorous. These are used to produce energy in the body.
A hexapeptide is a peptide composed of six amino acids linked together through peptide bonds. Since each peptide bond is formed between two amino acids, a hexapeptide would have 5 peptide bonds connecting the 6 amino acids.

peptide bond (just peptide on #28 across on the bio cross word)
yes.

Natural structures are formed by themselves whereas man made structures are built to look like something ...
The chemical bond between an amino acid's organic group and its amino group is a peptide bond. This bond is formed by a condensation reaction between the carboxyl group of one amino acid and the amino group of another, resulting in the formation of a covalent bond and the release of a molecule of water. Peptide bonds are essential for linking amino acids together to form proteins.
Peptide bond.
A chemical change results in a change in chemical composition, while a physical change does not.
The difference between a peptide and peptone is not complicated. A peptone is derived from animal milk and peptides are not.
When a chemical reaction occurs, the chemical structures that contain more than one atom are broken down, rearranged, or combined to form new compounds with different chemical structures. This process involves the breaking and forming of chemical bonds between atoms.
The differences between chemical properties are not significant.
