Solid liquid gas

The three phases of matter are solid, liquid, and gas. In a solid, particles are tightly packed, maintaining their shape. In a liquid, particles are close together but can move past one another. In a gas, particles are far apart and move freely.
In mixtures of salt and water, typically two phases are observed: a solid phase of salt crystals and a liquid phase of water.
The three phases of Supportability Analysis are: Determination of support requirements (goal: identify support needs), Development of support concepts (goal: define solutions to meet support needs), and Evaluation of support concepts (goal: assess effectiveness of solutions).

The three phases of a space shuttle flight are launch, on-orbit operations, and re-entry and landing. Launch involves liftoff from Earth, on-orbit operations refer to activities while the shuttle is in space, and re-entry and landing entail the shuttle returning to Earth and landing safely.
The use of parentheses allows you to control, or change, the regular order of operations. For example, if you have the expression 4 + 2 * 3, under the normal order of operations, you would perform the multiplication before the addition. To perform the addition first, you just add parenthesis so the expression reads (4 + 2) * 3 instead.

Water has 3 phases. These phases include steam, liquid and ice. Ice is the most dense, followed by liquid and then steam.
