There are no oceans or other bodies of water. (The atmosphere has a high concentration of sulfuric acid, forming periodic "rains". But at the high temperatures none reaches the surface in liquid form.)
Like Mercury venus is close to the sun too. It's tempature is 460 degrees celsius.
