Most magmas (melted rock) are in a range of temperature between 700C-1300C. Because rocks are made of combinations of different minerals, each with its own melting point, the composition of the rock will affect the melting point.

Marble is calcium carbonate; heating this compound thermal decomposition (in CaO and CO2) occur above 850 0C. Sometimes melting points are indicated but I believe that this is not correct.

That is all wrong. Marble doesn't boil, it decomposes.

If you mean CaCO3 then this does not boil it decomposes

If you mean glass marbles then glass boils at 2230 centigrade
