1. the big bang is believed to have started as a tiny volume of space, which suddenly expanded and created all the matter and energy in the universe. it happened more than 10 billion years ago. 2. the big bang was such a huge event that the waves of energy it created are still traveling on today. scientists have dectected these waves in space using a device called a spectroscope. 3. scientists think that the big bang Litterally started the universe-- it actually could have been the thing that created time itself. basicly, time probably didnt exist before the big bang. 4. the big bang is still happening; the universe is still expanding today. More and more galaxies are being created, and they are all moving away from eachother, which shows that space is still getting bigger and expanding. 5. The big bang actually didn't make a 'bang'. Sound didnt even exist back then. 6. someone fill in this one for me, please. 7. Nobody knows what there was before the big bang. It is likely that time, matter, forces (such as gravity), and energy didn't even exist before the big bang. CREEPY.

Yes, there is evidence supporting the Big Bang theory. Observations of the cosmic microwave background radiation, the abundance of light elements in the universe, and the redshift of galaxies all provide evidence that the universe began expanding from a hot, dense state approximately 13.8 billion years ago.

There are three key pieces of evidence:

  1. The fact that on a very large scale everything appears to be moving away from everything else, and the greater the distance, the faster the motion.
  2. The cosmic microwave background.
  3. When we look 14 billion light years out, all we see is radiation, implying that 14 billion years ago everything was just starting to condense into matter.

Taken together, these strongly imply that at one time everything in the Universe was a) very close together and b) very hot. That's basically what the Big Bang theory says.

the big bang theory is true

.

The big bang THEORY is a theory.

This means that although widely accepted as the base of the entire universe, it is a theory and hence not science fact.

The Big Bang is a scientific theory. This means that a scientist has found that is a probable way that the galaxy formed and there have not been any scientists that have been able to put forth factual evidence that disproves the theory. Using telescopes, scientists have been able to actually record this type of event taking place in other galaxies, therefore the outcome of the event has already been proven in other areas.

one of the many is background radiation.in fact, on a TV with an antena, if you go to a chanel with nothing on it, 3% of the static u see is background radiation from the big bang

yes the evidence supporting Big Bang Cosmology is pretty overwhelming. The concept is as well supported as a helio-centric solar system.

What evidence was used to develop the big bang theory?

The red shift and the cosmic microwave background radiation was the evidence used to develop the big bang theory.

What arguments would argue with The Big Bang Theory?

None that match the experimental evidence or that carry any logical weight. The Big Bang Theory is as rigorously tested science as Newton's Theory of Universal Gravitation.

What are the theory's about the universe?

Well I do now one theory about the universe. It's the big bang theory. The big bang theory is a theory about how the universe was created.Scientist think that a big explosion created the universe.Scientist found lots of evidence that the big bang theory was true.

Who gave evidence of the big bang theory?

edwin hubble

How did Fred hoyle regard the big bang theory?

Fred Hoyle was a proponent of the steady-state theory of the universe and was critical of the Big Bang theory. He famously likened the Big Bang theory to a "Big Bang" creation event and continued to advocate for his steady-state theory even after evidence supporting the Big Bang theory emerged.

How might the redshift indicate there is evidence for the big bang theory?

The redshift of galaxies is evidence for the Big Bang theory because it shows that the universe is expanding. When light from distant galaxies is redshifted, it means that those galaxies are moving away from us, indicating that the universe is getting larger and supporting the idea that everything originated from a single point in a massive explosion.

What are the 3 theory's of the earth big bang?

The big bang theory is a model of cosmology it does not have any relation with earth's creation .

Is the big bang a theory or a hypothesis?

The Big Bang is a theory in cosmology that explains the origin and evolution of the universe, supported by a significant amount of observational evidence. It is not a hypothesis, as a hypothesis is an initial explanation to be tested and either supported or rejected based on evidence.

Is the red-shift responsible for the big bang theory?

No, it's the other way round. The Big Bang is responsible for the redshift.
