The rectum.

After food is transported out of the stomach it first enters the small intestines and then the large intestines. The large intestines, or colon, consists of the cecum, ascending colon, transverse colon, descending colon, and sigmoid colon (shaped like a sideways 'S') which ends with the rectum. Unless the rectum becomes overburdened, it will store the waste until it is voluntarily excreted via the anus.

The part of the large intestine that stores solid waste is the rectum. It is the final section of the large intestine before the waste is expelled from the body through the anus during a bowel movement.
