protista can actulally be either. Some can be autotrophic and some can be hetrotrophic.

Protista can be autotrophic or heterotrophic. An autotroph is an organism that makes its own food. A heterotroph is an organism that relies on other resources for food, just in case you didn't know. :]

If an organism in kingdom protista is heterotrophic then which subkingdom is it most likely in?

If an organism in Kingdom Protista is heterotrophic, it is most likely in the subkingdom Algae. Algae are photosynthetic protists and are considered autotrophic, but there are some heterotrophic species within this group as well.

What Kingdom is a Englena in?

An euglena belongs to the Kingdom Protista. Protists are a diverse group of eukaryotic organisms that do not fit into the plant, animal, or fungi kingdoms. Euglenas are single-celled organisms that can be both autotrophic and heterotrophic.

Is protista heterotrophic?

both

Kingdom fungi are autotrophic or heterotrophic?

Kingdom fungi are heterotrophic, meaning they obtain nutrients by breaking down organic matter in their environment. They do not produce their own food through photosynthesis like autotrophic organisms do.

A single-celled eukaryotic organism that is neither a consumer nor a decomposer would most likely be classified in?

the kingdom Protista. Organisms in this kingdom can be autotrophic, heterotrophic, or mixotrophic, meaning they can produce their own food, consume other organisms, or do both.

Paramecium belongs to the Kingdom Protista.

Which kingdom includes autotrophic and heterotrophic unicellular and multicellular organisms?

The kingdom of protists has both heterotrophs, autotrophs, and uni/multicellular organisms.

6 animal kingdoms?

There are commonly recognized five animal kingdoms: Kingdom Animalia, Kingdom Plantae, Kingdom Fungi, Kingdom Protista, and Kingdom Monera. The animal kingdom specifically belongs to Kingdom Animalia, which includes multicellular organisms that are eukaryotic and heterotrophic.

Are organisms in kingdom protista capable of producing their own food?

Some organisms in the kingdom Protista are capable of producing their own food through photosynthesis, like algae. However, not all protists have this ability, as some are heterotrophic and need to obtain nutrients from other sources.

What trophic level is the kingdom protista on?

Kingdom Protista can occupy various trophic levels, as they include diverse organisms such as algae, protozoa, and some heterotrophic protists. Some protists are primary producers (autotrophs), while others are consumers (heterotrophs) feeding on producers or other consumers.
