∙ 13y agoFirst of all I haven't seen a propane gas company shut off any gas going to your home because most homes that run on propane have a tank and if you don't pay your bill then they won't come and fill it. Natural gas companies will shut off your gas and unless its your only way of heat and you have children living inside then they can not shut off your gas in cold winter months but you will still be charged for those months and might include interest so its best to always pay your gas bill and if you are struggling with money then try to keep your home heated to the minimum degrees you can comfortably like instead of your home temp being 74* f try keeping it around 68 or 69*f.
