Glue in fact is a solid, liquid, and gas. It is liquid when it is in the bottle, It releases gas when it is curing, and when it is cured it is a solid. This is true for most glues, others are different.

∙ 9y ago"Glue" is a generic term for any number of different types of adhesives. There are solid glues and liquid glues, and even that makes defining the state of the infinite number of possible molecules impossible.
Gluep is a non-Newtonian fluid, which means it can behave as both a solid and a liquid. When a force is applied, it acts like a solid, but when left alone, it flows like a liquid.

The general classes of colloids are sols (solid particles dispersed in a liquid), gels (cross-linked networks of solid particles dispersed in a liquid), and emulsions (liquid droplets dispersed in another liquid).
change of a liquid to a solid
A gas is not a liquid or a solid.
Whether the solid will float or sink in a solid-liquid mixture depends on the relative densities of the solid and the liquid. If the density of the solid is greater than that of the liquid, then the solid will sink. If the density of the solid is less than that of the liquid, then the solid will float.
The process of turning a solid into a liquid is called melting, and turning a liquid back into a solid is called freezing.
