The order Amphipoda contains organisms with a fairly wide variety of feeding habits. Most but not all amphipods live in water (both fresh and saltwater.) Some amphipods are indeed considered omnivores, but most are detritivores, meaning they eat pieces of organic matter that is decomposing (like an earthworm does.) Since detritivores are not particular about whether their food has a plant or animal origin I suppose you could say that most amphipods are omnivores, but it would be more correct to call them detritivores.
A Skunk is an omnivore.
Sturgeons are opportunistic omnivores. They eat creatures near the bottom including, crustaceons(crabs amphipods isopod shrimp), mollusks(clams mussels oysters), plant matter, insect larvae and pupae, zooplankton, and large amounts of sediment. Their stomachs can consist of up to 75% mud.
This is an example of a qualitative observation, which involves describing qualities or characteristics of a specimen without measuring or quantifying them. In this case, noting the presence of 2 antennae on an isopod is a qualitative observation because it describes a visual characteristic without assigning a numerical value.
Omnivore in French is spelled "omnivore".
