∙ 15y agoThat would depend on where you are. We can see other planets in our own solar system, but even travelling at huge speeds, it would takes us years to reach them. So you could see Earth from a very long way and have no hope of getting back, or surviving long enough to do so.

∙ 15y agoIt would be extremely difficult to make it back to Earth safely if someone were stranded in space without a functioning spacecraft. The lack of oxygen, food, and water would make survival unlikely, as well as the extreme temperatures in space. Rescue missions would also be challenging due to the vast distances involved.
