Well as you can see our main opponent here is sulfur dioxide which is caused by coal burning. How to fix this well that's what you're here for, and that's what you can thank science for! "what has science done "oh my gosh don't be a fool science has done most it even almost created the way of burning fossil fuels them self, more to the point science figured a way too still burn coal but get less sulfur dioxide and nitrogen oxides of it the number one is to use coal that contains less sulfur were to get that from? well Low sulfur coal is surface mined in the Western states of Wyoming and Montana. Transportation costs are much higher though. Option number two is well to "wash" the coal to remove some of the sulfur. and the last but not least is that the coal burning power plant can install this equipment called scrubbers, which remove the sulfur dioxide from gases leaving the smokestack. Because nitrogen oxides are created in a process of burning coal and most fossil fuels ok I'm mistaking all fossil fuels. uh and I almost forgot some coal burning power plants change the way they burn coal! .well know let's focus on a specific way umm lets choose option one for now, so I'll give a bit more information about the less sulfur coal (and I think it was the most confusing or not making sense) but that's my opinion! The effects of low sulfur coal on the environment is that firstly its helping our health and we are well being more healthier because well imagine breathing in all those oxides and dioxides in exact the sulfur dioxide and the nitrogen oxides well and also the main point is that it's affecting global warming which is affecting us which is also getting us killed and so on well moving on to my point it also reduces acid rain and since I'm doing water , lakes seas and etc my point is that it reduces acid rain which reduces the animals getting extinced and then endangered of course I mean if there was acid dropping on your head/habitat wouldn't you die yes you would and how does the sea affect you well I bet you don't even care well how it affects you I'll tell you first the fish get poisoned and eventually die but I mean that's no problem who cares huh well than we don't have fish no big deal could it meat chicken and vegetables ok but then the reason of the fish and other sea creatures dying was the poising in the lake or sea well then the animals there will die and eventualy all animals will die out because they have to have water and if the water has acid in it you simply don't live so the animals have died huh well no big deal I mean we could eat vegetables and stuff and drink filtrated or cleaned water no big deal huh well do you think that rain only rains over the seas and stuff you are wrong it will kill your crops murder them you will die of hunger or you will just simply have horrible life! And not just it you will kill the earth the plants the green house effect would simply make it even worse and that's how the world would end !!!. but unless you start using less sulfur coal then that all want happen to you and you will live happily ever after.
