Yes. Most fruit will conduct electricity because it contains water with various substances dissolved in it. How much electricity it conducts depends on how much water there is and what is dissolved in it. It is not true that only acidic fruits conduct electricity. Potatoes can also conduct electricity, that is why we have alkaline batteries.

It is varied. Fruits can sometimes have more. Vegetables can somtimes have more. It is all varied. That is the job we have acidity. Acidity is the variable used to find the conductivity in the fruits and vegetables. You should reseach more on this topic through Google or bing

Because of their liquid content, fruits can be used as conductors of electricity. Citrus fruits like lemons and limes are often cited as the best conductors for their high acid content.

A popular science experiment among children of all ages is to hook a fruit up as a sort of battery to power a small light bulb or alarm clock.

What makes an apple conduct electricity?

An apple can conduct electricity due to the presence of water and electrolytes inside it, which can help facilitate the flow of electrical current. The ions present in the juice of the apple also contribute to its ability to conduct electricity.

Which would conduct electricity when mixed with water?

Apple juice

Why is an apple a conductor?

An apple can conduct electricity because it contains a high amount of water, which is a good conductor of electricity. The ions present in the water in the apple allow it to conduct electricity to some extent, although not as efficiently as metals or other materials with high conductivity.

Is an apple a conductor or insulator?

An apple would be considered an insulator because it does not conduct electricity. The high water content and lack of metals in an apple make it a poor conductor of electricity.

Does oxygen conduct electricity?

No, oxygen is an insulator and does not conduct electricity. For electricity to flow, a material needs to have free-moving charged particles like electrons or ions, which oxygen lacks.

Superconductors can conduct electricity.

Do pineapples conduct electricity?

yes a pineapple can conduct electricity.

Which liquids conduct electricity?

Mercury. Pure water doesn't conduct much electricity, but naturally-occuring water has some ions that make it a fairly good conductor.
