DNA replication in cells typically takes several hours, depending on the type of cell and the organism. In humans, the entire process of DNA replication can take around 8 hours. This involves multiple steps, including unwinding of the DNA double helix, synthesis of new DNA strands, and proofreading for errors.

The average rate of hair growth is about 1.25 cm per month. It would take about two months for hair to grow one inch.

This is of course not universal and hair on different parts of the body and head grow at different rates.

The above average is taken from Caucasian (European) studies.

It takes around 7 hours for DNA to be copied when cells are dividing in the human body. If you were referring to cell division, it takes anywhere from 8 minutes, the time for a fly embryo cell, up to over 1 year, for the cycle of the human liver cell.
