Carbon Cycle: Through photosynthesis, trees, plants and all green vegetation take carbon dioxide from the atmosphere, store the carbon and release the oxygen.
Water Cycle: Water from the earth is taken up by the roots of plants. Through photosynthesis some of this water is split into hydrogen and oxygen. The oxygen is released and the hydrogen becomes part of the carbohydrates which build up the cells of the plants.

Photosynthesis is a process where carbon dioxide, or CO2, is fixed into glucose, a sugar molecule. Carbon is therefore taken out of the atmosphere and put into a food molecule in the plant.

How does photosynthesis cause carbon to cycle through the earth?

Are photosynthesis cause carbon to cycle through the earth.

What processes does the carbon-oxygen cycle depend on?

The carbon-oxygen cycle depends on processes such as photosynthesis, respiration, combustion, and decomposition. In photosynthesis, plants absorb carbon dioxide and release oxygen, while respiration is the process where organisms use oxygen and release carbon dioxide. Combustion releases carbon dioxide into the atmosphere, and decomposition helps break down organic matter, releasing carbon back into the cycle.

All matter that is living or once was living contains carbon and deals with?

the carbon cycle. Living organisms take in carbon through respiration, photosynthesis, and eating other organisms, and release it back into the environment upon death or decomposition. This continuous cycling of carbon between living organisms and the environment helps regulate Earth's climate and sustains life.

How do dead organisms contribute to the carbon cycle?

Dead organisms release carbon into the atmosphere through decomposition, where bacteria and fungi break down organic matter, releasing carbon dioxide. This carbon can then be taken up by plants during photosynthesis, completing the carbon cycle.

What Is the biogeochemical cycle in which carbon cycles through earth's ecosystems?

The biogeochemical cycle that involves the cycling of carbon through Earth's ecosystems is known as the carbon cycle. This cycle involves the movement of carbon between the atmosphere, oceans, soil, and living organisms through processes such as photosynthesis, respiration, and decomposition. Carbon plays a crucial role in the regulation of Earth's climate and is a key component of all living organisms.

Which process takes part in cycling carbon in living plants?

The process that takes part in cycling carbon in living plants is photosynthesis. During photosynthesis, plants use sunlight to convert carbon dioxide into glucose, which is then used for energy and growth. This process helps to regulate the amount of carbon in the atmosphere and is a key component of the carbon cycle.

What is the driving force behind the carbon oxygen cycle and the phosphate cycle?

The driving force behind the carbon oxygen cycle is photosynthesis, where plants convert carbon dioxide and sunlight into energy, releasing oxygen as a byproduct. In the phosphate cycle, the main driving force is the weathering of rocks that contain phosphate minerals, which releases phosphorus into the soil for uptake by plants and subsequent cycling through the ecosystem.

What cycle involves photosynthesis and respiration?

The carbon cycle involves photosynthesis and respiration. In photosynthesis, plants take in carbon dioxide to produce glucose and oxygen, while in respiration, organisms use oxygen to break down glucose and release carbon dioxide back into the atmosphere.

What cycle involves oxygen gas?

The oxygen cycle involves the movement of oxygen through the atmosphere, biosphere, and lithosphere. It includes processes such as photosynthesis by plants, respiration by organisms, and the cycling of oxygen in the atmosphere and oceans.

Describe the cycling of carbon in the carbon cycle?

The two processes of the carbon cycle are photosynthesis and cellular respiration. In photosynthesis carbon from carbon dioxide is fixed into carbohydrates. In cellular respiration, carbohydrates are broken down to form ATP and carbon in the form of carbon dioxide is released into the atmosphere.

Does carbon pass through photosynthesis?

Yes the Carbon cycle and Photosynthesis are inextricably connected.

How does carbon remove from the carbon cycle?

Only by photosynthesis. Plants remove the Co2 for photosynthesis.

What is the basis of the carbon cycle?

photosynthesis
