What has to be done is to judge the temperature of the heat emitted by the light bulb. This temperature should be adjusted by the distance from the bulb to the plant. As long as the leaves do not get hot and burn then this should be considered a proper distance. The key is not to damage the leaves.

∙ 9y agoA 100 watt light bulb should be placed about 12-24 inches away from a plant, depending on the light intensity needed by the plant species. It's important to monitor the plant's response to the light to ensure it's receiving the right amount without causing damage.

Only by being put in the furnace at a power plant, then it would help to light a whole region.
Yes, light bulbs can affect plant growth by providing the necessary light spectrum for photosynthesis. Different plants require different levels of light intensity and spectrum, so it's important to choose the right type of light bulb for optimal growth. LED grow lights are popular for indoor gardening because they can provide the right spectrum of light needed for plant growth.
By definition, light travels at the speed of light. About 300,000 kps
If a fluorescent light blinks, it is more likely that the issue is with the ballast rather than the light bulb. The ballast helps regulate the flow of electricity to the light bulb, so a flickering light is often a sign that the ballast is failing.
