To a first approximation, none whatsoever. There is a tiny gravitational pull, and evenings or mornings when Venus is visible in the sky are a tiny bit brighter, but both of these effects are extremely small so that unless you're doing incredibly detailed calculations you could ignore them.

Venus does not directly affect Earth in a significant way. However, both planets can influence each other through their gravitational interactions. Additionally, studying Venus can provide insights into planetary formation and the potential for habitability in our solar system.

What is the temperature of it atmosphere is increased by the greenhouse effect?

Both Earth and Venus have increase temperature due to a greenhouse effect. Venus has a much stronger greenhouse effect than Earth does.

Venus and Earth both experience a?

Venus and Earth both experience a greenhouse effect due to their atmospheres trapping heat from the sun. This results in high temperatures on both planets, with Venus having a much stronger greenhouse effect than Earth due to its thick carbon dioxide atmosphere.

Which planet- Venus or Earth- exhibits the strongest green house effect?

venus because it has 96.5% of carbon dioxide and Earth has 0.03% of carbon dioxide.

Which two planets experience the green house effect?

Venus and Earth are the two planets that experience the greenhouse effect. Both planets have atmospheres that trap heat from the sun, leading to high surface temperatures as a result of this warming effect.

What planet has an atmosphere with a greenhouse effect?

EarthVenusMarsThe greenhouse effect occurs on every planet with an atmosphere (including Earth). On Venus, there is a runaway greenhouse effect causing temperatures high enough to melt lead.Mars has a greenhouse effect that is weak because of its thin atmosphere.

What is this trapping of heat called?

The trapping of heat by the atmosphere of Venus is called the greenhouse effect, just as it is on Earth. Venus is the second closest planet to the sun and the temperature on the planet reaches 870 degrees Fahrenheit.

Does the planet Venus or Mars effect the Earth's tides?

No, the planets Venus and Mars do not have a significant effect on Earth's tides. The main contributor to Earth's tides is the gravitational pull of the Moon, with the Sun also playing a role. The influence of Venus and Mars on Earth's tides is negligible compared to the influence of the Moon and the Sun.

What planet has more greenhouse effect?

Venus has the most pronounced greenhouse effect in our solar system. Its thick atmosphere is composed mostly of carbon dioxide, which traps heat and creates a runaway greenhouse effect, resulting in extreme temperatures of up to 900°F (475°C) on the surface.

What gas gives a greenhouse effect on Venus?

Carbon dioxide (CO2), the same as on earth.

Does the greenhouse effect only occur on earth?

No, the greenhouse effect is a natural process that occurs on Earth and other planets with atmospheres. For example, Venus has an extreme greenhouse effect that has resulted in high surface temperatures.

If Mercury and Venus and Earth align would the added gravitation pull the Earth closer to the Sun?

No. Venus and Mercury are too small for their extra pull to have an appreciable effect on the Earth. The orbits of the planets stabilized billions of years ago, and there have been millions of alignments since then with little or no effect.

Is venus hotter or colder than earth?

Venus is hotter than Earth. Despite being farther away from the sun, the thick atmosphere of Venus traps heat, creating a runaway greenhouse effect that makes it the hottest planet in our solar system.
