Pluto doesn't orbit the sun. it cant because a bunch of other icy planets are in the way. Pluto belongs to a different belt which i forget it's name :) that's why Pluto isn't classified as a planted anymore (as of 2008)

Pluto orbits the Sun in an elliptical path, traveling along its orbit in a tilted and elongated manner compared to the orbits of the eight planets. Its orbit takes it closer to the Sun than Neptune for about 20 years during its roughly 248-year orbit.
