I am not sure how to get a clam to open naturally. The way I have known to open a clam is by hand.

To open a Softsoap dispenser, first locate the small tab or button usually located at the back or on the side of the dispenser. Press or slide this tab to release the top portion of the dispenser and access the refillable soap container inside. Refill with your preferred soap and then close the dispenser by securing the top portion back into place.
I could not figure this out either, until my know-it-all uncle showed me in about 0.02 seconds. You squeeze both sides from the top to unlock!As for the soap refill itself, just poke with a paper clip into IUD and push the button a couple of times...
In the case of automatic soap dispenser, to open it you should look underneath it. Behind the push bar you will see a small lever. Push this lever whereas gently pulling the top of the dispenser toward you. The top should swing away. If it is ordinary soap dispenser, you have to unscrew the pomp.
