How do you merge in lost planet 2?

This has been known to be a very difficult task, i advise you go on the campaign on: easy (Recommended not required) episode 4 the chapter of which is raining and dark, with the guardian akrids, you will need a partner, so invite 1 person to make things more simple, on the first stage you will need to activate all the data posts, once you have done so, get in a X-seed vs, (this is the vs that has very flattened sides and front and has a red dot on the front, it has wings and 2 legs, its an advanced version of a "Nina" vs (basic vs in pro-log 1) enter the vs, it also has optical camo by pressing (left thunb stick) + (X) once you have entered it, fight off the ospreys and enemy troops, make sure once the enemy's battle gage reaches "0" you are both in a X-SEED (Recommended you have both X-seeds just in case one gets destroyed later on) once you have finished the first part, repair your vs's and kill the 1st guardian akrid. (i also advise both players have mikes so you can communicate quickly and effectively), pass the first force Field and kill all the sentry's and snipers in the area, don't deactivate the second Field as it will release the 2nd guardian, take both of your X-Seeds and go to the far left of the control panel used to deactivate the force Field, kill the bleed vs and the other enemy's in there, once of you get in the cakti VS in the cave and one stay in the X-seed, (recommended you both have at least 5000 T-ENG). Stand the x-seed behind the cakti, both players press down both of the thumb sticks and push them outward like this ( <-- O O --> ) the X-seed should start to hover and the cakti should have 2 rods fold out the top, both players then press (B) to merge once merged both players Will receive an achievement. now i will take you through the specials, X-seed play press (Y) to change weapon fire and C shaped bullets will fly out of the cannon, Cakti player, press (Y) to change weapon, fire with [] L TRIGGER and [] R TRIGGER, to fire drill missile, now both players press and hold (X) for a massive laser cannon, witch wipes out everything in its path, except bosses, now if you want you can try out your "BROCAKTI" on the guardian akrid, i hope this guide helped you.
