Anything makes a pretty good sled, as me and my friend went sledging on a piece FIBREGLASS!

A piece of card board would be nice for a little bit. maybe some thing big and metal or wood. a lid to a toy bin...those big ones. A laundry basket, or maybe a windbreaker jacket if you pull the front of it up while you are going down.
just some ideas.

To make a snow sled, you can repurpose items like a plastic storage bin, cardboard boxes, or a plastic tarp by adding a rope or handles for pulling. Another option is to construct a simple sled using wooden boards and nails, or repurpose materials like a tire inner tube or a cafeteria tray for sliding on snow.

Can you sled with dogs on grass or will the sled break?

It is not recommended to sled with dogs on grass as it can put strain on the sled and potentially cause damage. Grass does not provide the same smooth surface or resistance as snow, which can result in a less enjoyable experience for both the dogs and the sled. It is best to sled with dogs on snow or other appropriate surfaces to ensure their safety and the longevity of the sled.
