In general organic compounds / substances / materials contain carbon atoms bonded with other atoms and/or those related to life. It is the chemistry of carbon containing compounds.

Inorganic is everything else and generally do not contain carbon (with some exceptions).

Organic matter contains carbon and is derived from living organisms, like plants and animals. Inorganic matter does not contain carbon and can include substances like minerals and water. Organic matter is typically more complex in structure and is involved in biological processes, while inorganic matter is simpler and can be found in non-living materials.

Organic substances are substances that can be found growing naturally on earth. Inorganic substances were most likely created chemically, genetically modified, or anything along those lines. Hope that helps!

Just remember organic substances have a carbon in its structure. inorganic doesn't.

Seems like it would be more complicated than that.
