The dealership (if it is one of those keys which require a coded chip reprogram).
It means that it is written in a way that can be understood only by those who possess the keys of that code.
Must have a programmer. No owner programming without 2 working keys.
If they are coded security keys with a chip in them you will have to get them from the dealer. Otherwise any place that makes keys can make a copy if you have one. If you don't have one, back to the dealer. They can use the vin to make you a key.
sorry no Renault keys are partialy coded from Renault to the car i.e has a code flashed to the eprom in the key the mail dealer can't even do it
prime numbers only be used as encryption keys as in encryption the numbers are coded inj the form of 0s and 1s ,i.e binary form.
It's pretty hard. The keys include a complex engine immobiliser system coded to the car. If you have lost all keys you may need to replace the locks, immobiliser and alarm systems. It gets expensive.
From the owner's manualProgramming spare keysYou can program your own coded keys to your vehicle. Please read andunderstand the entire procedure before you begin.Tips:• A maximum of eight keys can be coded to your vehicle.• Only use Securilock keys.• You must have two previously programmed coded keys (keys thatalready operate your vehicle's engine) and the new unprogrammedkey(s) readily accessible.• If no previously programmed coded keys are available, you must takeyour vehicle to your dealer to have the spare key(s) programmed.1. Insert a previously programmedcoded key into the ignition.2. Turn the ignition from the 1 (LOCK) position to the 3 (ON) position.Keep the ignition in the 3 (ON) position for at least one second, but nomore than 10 seconds.3. Turn the ignition to the 1 (LOCK) position and remove the coded keyfrom the ignition.4. Within ten seconds, insert the second previously coded key into theignition.5. Turn the ignition from the 1 (LOCK) position to the 3 (ON) position.Keep the ignition in the 3 (ON) position for at least one second, but nomore than 10 seconds.6. Turn the ignition to the 1 (LOCK) position and remove the secondpreviously programmed coded key from the ignition.7. Within twenty seconds of removing the previously programmed codedkey, insert the new unprogrammed key into the ignition.8. Turn the ignition from the 1 (LOCK) position to the 3 (ON) position.Keep the ignition in the 3 (ON) position for at least one second but notmore than 10 seconds.
Rangers come epuiped with a passive anti-theft system, which means the keys have a coded chip in them. If you have a key that's not coded to the truck, it won't start it bu it will open the doors.
No. I recently had my key break off in the ignition in a 2004 Kia Sedona. I had a locksmith remove it and make replacement keys that he was afraid might be coded because of the large size but after making 2 new spares, we discovered they were not coded which would have caused the engine to shut down after a few seconds. I can;t speak for all model years but in 2004 they were not coded. I Have A 2004 Kia Sedona The Key Code Is Y7401

The factory anti-theft system will only prevent the vehicle from starting when the coded keys are not present. It is not able to shut down a running vehicle.
