Dandelion seeds are attached to a fluffy parachute-like structure that helps them disperse in the wind, while apple seeds are contained within the fruit's core. Dandelion seeds are lighter and able to travel farther distances with wind dispersal, whereas apple seeds rely on animals to scatter them. Additionally, dandelion seeds are adapted for long-distance dispersal to colonize new areas, while apple seeds are typically dispersed closer to the parent tree.
Ripe balsam seeds are spring loaded, and are dispersed by being flung out of the seed pods when a passing animal or human brushes against the pods.

Apple seeds disappear because you eat them
By animal
Well they disperse seeds by eating them, or getting the seeds stuck on their fur. Then when the animal travels the seeds might fall off the animal and land in a new place.

Animal Dispersal during consumption/excertion
As with all fruit seeds, watermelon uses animals to disperse seeds. When an animal eats a watermelon, the seeds generally pass through the digestive system unharmed. When the animal defecates, the seeds then come out (and embedded in the natural fertilizer).
