Think of it this way four of you friends pulls the four corners of a paper sheet with the same intensity. Does the paper move in any one of the directions? OR does it stay in the same place it was before. Only its dimensions changes i.e. it tears up into smaller pieces if the force is adequate.

Now imagine this case again but differently. Now two of your adjacent friends are pulling and the remaining two pushing. The paper will move in the direction of the two friends who are pulling.

Now imagine two opposite friends pulling and the other 2 pushing the paper will remain in the same place.

To explain these scenarios we need to make algebraic equations, a mathematical model if you will so that it becomes clear to us as to what the hell is going on.

Inertia will not be affected when this type of force is zero.?

Inertia will not be affected when "net" or "net force" is zero.

What is the net force for 70N and 45N?

To find the net force, subtract the smaller force from the larger force. Net force = 70N - 45N = 25N. Therefore, the net force is 25 Newtons.

What Combination of all of the force acting on an object?

The net force acting on an object is the combination of all individual forces acting on it. It is the vector sum of all forces, taking into account their magnitudes and directions. The net force determines the acceleration of the object according to Newton's second law of motion.

What is the synonmey of net force?

The synonym for net force is resultant force.

When finding the net force why muist you know the direction of the forces acting on the object?

i have no idea... im trying to figure it out...

What difference of force and net force?

force is a push or pull. net force is the overall force on an object.

10 examples of law of acceleration?

-- A car accelerates in the direction of the net force on it, at a rate equal to the magnitude of the net force divided by the mass of the car. -- A stone accelerates in the direction of the net force on it, at a rate equal to the magnitude of the net force divided by the mass of the stone. -- A Frisbee accelerates in the direction of the net force on it, at a rate equal to the magnitude of the net force divided by the mass of the Frisbee. -- A baseball accelerates in the direction of the net force on it, at a rate equal to the magnitude of the net force divided by the mass of the baseball. -- A dog accelerates in the direction of the net force on it, at a rate equal to the magnitude of the net force divided by the mass of the dog. -- A book accelerates in the direction of the net force on it, at a rate equal to the magnitude of the net force divided by the mass of the book. -- A canoe accelerates in the direction of the net force on it, at a rate equal to the magnitude of the net force divided by the mass of the canoe. -- An airplane accelerates in the direction of the net force on it, at a rate equal to the magnitude of the net force divided by the mass of the airplane. -- A planet accelerates in the direction of the net force on it, at a rate equal to the magnitude of the net force divided by the mass of the planet. -- A cow accelerates in the direction of the net force on it, at a rate equal to the magnitude of the net force divided by the mass of the cow.

What is the net force on a yo yo if it is not moving?

there is no net force.....

What is the big idea involving force and motion?

The big idea involving force and motion is that a force is required to change an object's state of motion or to accelerate it. This is described by Newton's second law of motion, which states that the acceleration of an object is directly proportional to the net force acting on it and inversely proportional to its mass.

The overall force on an object after all the force are added together is called the?

accelerating force

What is net or unbalanced force?

A net force is the overall force acting on an object, which is calculated by adding up all the individual forces. If the net force is not zero, the object will accelerate. An unbalanced force occurs when the net force is not equal to zero, resulting in a change in the object's motion.

What 2 words mean net force of zero?

net force
