The fundamental particle responsible for holding the nucleus together is the meson, specifically the pion. Mesons are a type of subatomic particle made up of a quark and an antiquark and are involved in the strong nuclear force that binds protons and neutrons in the nucleus. Muons are a type of lepton and do not play a role in nuclear binding.

Which particle is responsible for holding the nucleus together?

The particle responsible for holding the nucleus together is the strong nuclear force mediated by particles called gluons. This force overcomes the electrostatic repulsion between positively charged protons within the nucleus, keeping it stable.

The force that pulls all things in the univirse together?

The force that pulls all things in the universe together is gravity. Gravity is a fundamental force of nature that causes objects with mass to be attracted towards each other. It is responsible for keeping planets in orbit around the sun and holding galaxies together.
