∙ 13y agoNo, an electric meter measures the amount of electric charge passing through a circuit per unit time. The number of protons in a current is not relevant to the measurement of electricity by an electric meter.

It has an equal number of protons and electrons.
The atomic number is a measure of the number of protons in an atom's nucleus. It determines the element's identity on the periodic table.
well you take the number of protons and you subract the number of electrons thus giving you the electric charge of an element
An oxygen ion typically has 8 protons. This is because oxygen usually has 8 protons in its neutral state, and gaining or losing electrons to form an ion does not change the number of protons.
a particle of matter with a positive electric charge
The number of electrons do not match the number of protons.

It has an equal number of protons and electrons.
In an atom, which is inherently neutral, the number of protons is equivalent to the number of electrons by reason of balanced relative electric charges.

An object's electric charge is typically measured in coulombs (C). The electric charge of an object depends on the number of protons and electrons it contains. Protons carry a positive charge, while electrons carry a negative charge. The total charge of an object is the difference between the number of protons and electrons.
They are equal.
That is called a neutral atom, because it has no electric charge. If the atom has an electric charge (i.e., it has more protons than electrons, or more electrons than protons), it is called an ion. That is called a neutral atom, because it has no electric charge. yes, as the number of protons increase, then the current orbital fills up and eventually a new orbital starts.
It cannot be done. A percentage is a pure number whereas a milliamp is a measure of electric current. A bank will charge some percentage interest on a loan. I am not sure how that might convert to a current!
An electrical charge occurs when the number of protons in a nucleus differs from the number of electrons surrounding that nucleus.
