Why are viruses considering to be non living?

Many scientists consider viruses to be non living because each and every living organism must carry out these 7 life processes for it to be considered living: Movement, Reproduction, Sensitivity, Growth, Respiration, Excretion and Nutrition. Viruses do all of these things except reproduction, which they cannot do. Instead, they multiply by using other living organism's cells which has caused a lot of debate over whether that counts as reproduction in the scientific community.

Are viruses identified as livivg things yes or no?

No, viruses are not considered living things because they do not have all the characteristics of life on their own. They require a host cell to reproduce and cannot carry out metabolic processes independently.

What do the sensitivity numbers mean on a urine culture and sensitivity test?

The sensitivity numbers on a urine culture and sensitivity test indicate the effectiveness of different antibiotics in treating a specific bacteria found in the urine sample. It helps determine which antibiotic will be most effective in treating the infection. The higher the sensitivity number, the more effective the antibiotic is against that particular bacteria.

Viruses that consist of only a nucleocapsid are considered what?

Viruses that consist of only a nucleocapsid are considered naked viruses. These viruses lack an outer lipid envelope and rely on the nucleocapsid structure for protection and infectivity. Naked viruses tend to be more stable in the environment compared to enveloped viruses.

Are viruses a eukaryote?

No, viruses are nonliving.

Why bacteria are considering living?

because they do have the 7 characteristics of life which are movement, respiration, sensitivity(irritability), growth, reproduction, excretion and nutrition. they also have a proper cell structure unlike viruses.

What happen to voltage sensitivity if current sensitivity is increase of agalvanometer?

If current sensitivity of a galvanometer is increased, the voltage sensitivity remains the same. Voltage sensitivity depends on the resistance of the galvanometer coil, while current sensitivity depends on the number of turns in the coil. Therefore, changing current sensitivity does not affect voltage sensitivity.
