Technically an animal cell is a special kind because unlike plant cells which are rectangular in shape animal cells are normally a circular shape which are designed that way because circles are able to maneuver around each other so that the organism can move while plant cells that are rectangular and stiff can not move very quickly.

Yes! All multi-cellular organisms contain specialized cells. Specialization is the reason they become multi-cellular.

Multi-cellular organisms are differentiated from other eukaria and prokaria in that, rather than living individually or in convenient colonies, they MUST be multi-cellular to survive.

What does it mean when cells are specialized in multicellular organisms?

Cells that are specialized in multicellular organisms means they do many things. This is what helps the body function.

How does multicellular maintain homeostasis?

The cells of multicellular organisms become specialized for particular tasks and communicate with one another to maintain homeostasis. Specialized cells in multicellular organisms are organized into groups. A tissue is a group of similar cells that performs a particular function.

The cells of multicellular organisms are specialized to perform different tasks?

True

How do you use multicellular specialized tasks in one sentence?

Multicellular organisms have specialized cells that perform specific tasks to support the overall functioning of the organism.

Would multicellular organisms function without specialized cells?

no it cant because multicellular organisms need specilized cells in order for them to remain stable to focus in one job

Why are specialized cells important to multi-cellular organisms?

Because multicellular organisms has many organs that perform functions. And specialized cells are important because they make the function for the cell.

What can most likely be found in a unicellular and multicellular organism?

Both unicellular and multicellular organisms can have DNA, cell membrane, cytoplasm, and ribosomes. However, multicellular organisms typically have specialized cells, tissues, and organs that may not be present in unicellular organisms.

What is an organism that contains many cells?

An organism that contains many cells is called multicellular. Examples of multicellular organisms include animals, plants, and fungi. These organisms are composed of specialized cells that work together to carry out various functions within the organism.

Why do multicellular organisms need specialized tissues?

Multicellular organisms need specialized tissues to perform specific functions efficiently. Each specialized tissue is made up of cells that are adapted to carry out certain tasks, such as muscle cells for movement or nerve cells for signaling. By having specialized tissues, multicellular organisms can coordinate different activities and maintain homeostasis more effectively.

What are specialized cells and what type of organism are they found?

Specialized cells are cells that have specific functions within an organism. They are found in multicellular organisms, such as humans, animals, and plants, where different types of specialized cells work together to carry out specific functions.
