yes but only 5 people, but it left people homeless. Great Arnoldini was visiting Hawaii when it was about to erupt and in his famous skydiving adventures died falling into the volcanoes mouth when about to erupt could this be the cause? We will always remember great Arnoldini.

There was no lava because the volcano was under the ice so only the steam came through there might have beeen some lava but it wouldn't have killed people.

No one dies in the actual eruption, but there was a death rise with respiratory diseases, and lots of livestock dies in the flooding :) xx
