No. NOTHING can be done without energy.Well, some organisms could remain dormant for a while, without an energy source. But in the long term, they will need an energy source, to have any type of activity.
No, not all organisms need air to survive. Some organisms, such as anaerobic bacteria, can survive and even thrive in environments without oxygen. These organisms have evolved alternative metabolic pathways to generate energy without the need for oxygen.
No, not all multicellular organisms need oxygen for their cells to get energy. Some organisms, like anaerobic bacteria, can generate energy without oxygen through processes like fermentation. Additionally, some multicellular organisms, like certain deep-sea creatures, have evolved adaptations to survive in low-oxygen environments.
from chemicals in the ocean
Some organisms, such as certain bacteria and fungi, are able to survive without sunlight by obtaining energy from alternative sources, such as chemicals or organic matter. These organisms engage in processes like chemosynthesis or fermentation to generate energy. Additionally, some organisms have adapted to low-light environments and developed mechanisms to efficiently use available light energy.
Some of them are, however, there are many microscopic organisms that are not harmful, some of which you could not survive without.
coz they do
Some organisms have adapted to their environment through evolution. These species went through slow changes so that they could survive where they are. In some cases, the environment changed around them slowly and they went through changes. This is what happened to many species in the deeper regions of the ocean.
Some bacteria can live with or without oxygen, others can't live with oxygen. Oxygen is used for cellular respiration (breaking down substances, such as sugar, for energy); bacteria that survive without it can ferment organic substances or oxidize inorganic substances. Some animals, such as moss piglets, can enter a state of suspended animation when conditions are bad and survive without food, water, or even oxygen until conditions are favorable again. (Fish can get O2 straight out of the water, so they are technically breathing.)
No for the simple reason that, on Earth, there are no ecosystems with only one single organism present. Perhaps in some hypothetical scenario an organism may survive without other organisms present, but it would be an artificially created/maintained environment.
Some types of organisms rely on the energy stored in the inorganic checmical compounds.
Chimps do drink water because in books you will see them and other types of monkeys lean down and very carefully put there hand in the water and scoop up some water.
organisms that live on the ocean floor are called Benthos
they produce the source of chemical energy for themselves and for other organisms. -Biology
Well they are not. lol. every live creature needs some sort of food to survive. some kinds are collecting food in there bodies or something but none of them can survive without food :)
Stewing - or cooking - should reduce the number of the vegetative cells of spoilage organisms. Some will likely survive.
Plants, and some algae.
