They can float in hot. Like if you boil eggs, before you set the pot, water, and eggs on the stove, you see that they don't float until the water gets warm.

∙ 15y agoYes, fresh eggs typically sink in water, but as they age, the air cell inside the egg grows larger, causing the egg to float. This is because old and stale eggs have more air inside their shells. Temperature doesn't have a direct impact on whether an egg will float or sink, but colder water can slow down the release of air from the egg, so it may take longer for a fresh egg to float in cold water compared to room temperature water.

∙ 13y agoEggs float in hot water not in cold. Because in hot water the water has more density than the egg. in cold water the egg has more density so it doesnt float i hoped this helped. :)

∙ 14y agoBecause density of hot water is more than the density of egg

Cold water.
an egg can float in salt water.
no an egg does not float in regular water.
it takes about ten water to float an egg
In a denser liquid.A raw egg will sink in fresh water, but float in salt water. It also depends on how fresh the egg is.Set an egg in cold water-If the egg stay at the bottom - it is fresh. If the egg is at an angle on the bottom - it is still fresh and good to eat.If the egg stands on its pointed end at the bottom - it is still safe to eat but best used for baking or boiled eggs.If the egg floats - it is best discarded.
Cold water.
Only an altered egg float.

Yes, and egg will float in salt water.
Egg float in water because the mass of the water is less than the mass of the egg.
Yes, an egg will float in salted water because the increased density of the water due to the salt makes it easier for objects with lower density, like an egg, to float.

An egg can float on water when the density of the water is increased, such as by adding salt. This increases the buoyant force acting on the egg, allowing it to float.
An egg does float in water that is mixed with salt, because salt provides more density in the water, and ,therefore, allows an egg to float.
You can float an egg in very salty water.
