∙ 13y agoYes, because your genes have both dominant and recessive traits, so you may have 1 blue and 1 brown and your wife may have 1 blue and 1 brown and (and this is gross simplification) when your genes combine if even one of your brown traits gets passed onto the child it will have brown eyes.

∙ 15y agoYes, it is possible for two brown-eyed parents to have a blue-eyed child if both parents carry the recessive blue-eye gene. Blue eyes are a recessive trait, meaning both parents must pass on the blue-eye gene for the child to have blue eyes.
Wiki User
∙ 15y agoyes it can if both have a recessive trait for brown eyes which is unlikely because brown eyes is dominant gene. Blue eyes are the recessive trait so when a baby is born with blue it has blue eye genes from both parents. but if the parent has a partial gens for brown eyes there is a chance to have a baby with brown eyes.

∙ 13y agoI'm not quite sure how to explain the answer fully but yes it is possible. I remember from Biology and also my boyfriend has blue eyes and both of his parents have brown eyes.
- Yes, a brown eyed woman and a brown eyed man can make a blue eyed baby. You see, as long as both of the parents are holding a 'recessive' blue-eyed trait (that they are not showing in their phenotype). There is a 1/4 chance that the child be blue eyed.
Wiki User
∙ 15y agoYes because the brown gene is more dominating. My grandpa had blue eyes and my grandma had brown and most of her children had brown eyes
Wiki User
∙ 14y agoyes, it depends on how strong the blue eyed gene is
Wiki User
∙ 13y agoYes. Blue eyes is a recessive gene, and if you both carry it, there is a 1/4 chance of a Blue eyed baby
Wiki User
∙ 13y agoObviously.
Yes, it is possible for a blue-eyed man and a brown-eyed woman to have a blue-eyed child. Eye color is determined by multiple genes, so the child could inherit the necessary combination from each parent to have blue eyes.
Yes, it is possible for two hybrid blue-eyed parents to have a brown-eyed child if both parents carry a recessive brown-eyed gene. Eye color is determined by multiple genes, so the outcome can vary.
Yes, it is possible for a Chinese brown-eyed person and an American blue-eyed person to have a blue-eyed baby. The genetics of eye color are complex, involving multiple genes, so the baby could inherit the blue eye color gene from both parents.
yes, but only if someone in either family had brown eyes because some inherited traits skip generations.
Yes, buy only if the parents are heterozygous for the trait and if the trait is dominant.
Yes!
yes, only 2 blue eyed people can only have a blue eyed baby, this will not change ever! where as 2 brown eyed people can also have a blue eyed baby, but for 2 blue eyed people to have a brown eyed baby is impossible!
It should be possible because my mom has blue eyes, my dad has brown and i got green eyes so i would say yes.
It depends on the genes because some genes from the parents might not get passed on making the baby have brown eyes
Yes. The woman can be heterogeneous non-blue. That means she carries a blue eyed gene and a non-blue eyed gene. The blue eyed is normally recessive so he carries both blue eye genes and doesn't carry a non-blue gene.If two blue eyed parents have a child then the child will be blue eyed.
Yes, I have a son that has green eyes. I have blue, his father has brown.
maybe
yes. if the dad has 1 recessive blue gene and 1 dominant brown gene then he can either pass on the blue gene or the brown gene.
Yes, but it occurs very rarely.
It is impossible for a baby to have brown eyes if both of his parents have blue eyes since the brown eye gene is more dominant.
Yes, they can - and it happens more commonly than you'd think.
yes it can be true but sometimes not
