Malaria is a potentially fatal blood disease caused by a protozoan i.e. "Plasmodium" by its four different stages - P.vivax, P.ovale, P.falciparum and P.malarial. When an infected female anopheles mosquito bites a healthy person, the parasite "Plasmodium" reaches in the blood through its saliva. These parasite grow fast in the red blood corpuslces and R.B.C. burst off. A toxic substance "Haemozion" is released with the bursting of R.B.C. High fever occurs, a person experiences lack of blood and spleen increases in size.
malaria is a serious and sometimes fatal disease caused by a parasite transmitted through the bite of infected mosquitoes. Symptoms include fever, chills, and flu-like illness, and if untreated, it can lead to complications affecting vital organs. Prevention methods include insecticide-treated bed nets and antimalarial medication for high-risk areas.
Protozoa can carry diseases such as malaria, toxoplasmosis, giardiasis, and leishmaniasis. These diseases can be transmitted to humans through contaminated food or water, insect bites, or contact with infected animals.
