∙ 7y agoFALSE. I would call this reaction a combustion reaction. I always understood a combination reaction to be a reaction between two elements or compounds to form 1 product. For example, sodium reacting with chlorine to produce sodium chloride. A combustion reaction usually forms more than one product. When burning fossil fuels (coal, gas, oil, etc.) the fuel contains compunds which are composed of mostly carbon & hydrogen. So when reacted with oxygen (or combusted) the products are carbon dioxide & water vapor, in addition to the heat & light produced.

oxygen
It means that for a reaction (usually chemical) to take place, light is needed. An example of this can be seen in photosynthesis.
The oxidation is called "combustion" (i.e. burning).
Burning usually involves a chemical reaction where a substance combines with oxygen to produce new materials. For example, when burning wood, the wood combines with oxygen to produce carbon dioxide, water vapor, and ash. The resulting products are new materials compared to the original substance that was burned.
Thermal decomposition is a chemical reaction where a single substance breaks into two or more simple substances when heated. The reaction is usually endothermic because heat is required to break the bonds present in the substance.

oxygen Wrong! its CH4 + 2O2 → CO2 + 2H2O

Heating a substance can result in a chemical reaction, which usually results in a simple combustion reaction. This is because Oxygen, or O2, is added to the substance, which can dramatically alter the substance.

An endothermic reaction is a chemical reaction that absorbs energy. Such reactions usually produce a temperature drop.
It is an allergy
This is usually referred to as the ACTUAL YIELD of that substance.
A titration reaction is a chemical technique used to determine the concentration of a substance in a solution. It involves the gradual addition of a known concentration of another substance, called the titrant, to the solution until a reaction is complete. The endpoint of the reaction is usually detected using an indicator or an instrument, allowing for the calculation of the concentration of the unknown substance.
