Music Boxes can play a variety of tunes. Some of the more popular include the Theme from Love Story, Swan Lake, and Music Box Dancer.
Claude-Michel Schönberg and Alain Boublil wrote the music and lyrics for Les Misérables.
He wrote what we call classical music including operas, string quartets, piano sonatas, concertos for different instruments, program music, symphonies, and ballets. That's the type of music he wrote, but the style he wrote in was Romantic.
He wrote in the Baroque Are, but he was very rebellious.
The band ABBA of course!

Swan Lake
Tchaikovsky was a composer in the Romantic Era. He wrote music for ballets, such as Swan Lake, Sleeping Beauty, and perhaps what he is most famous for, the Nutcracker. He also wrote operas (Eugene Onegin) and overtures (1812 Overture).
Leo Delibes is the composer of Sylvia and is considered the inventor of what we know today as Ballet music, Tchaikovsky even claimed that Sylvia was better than his own Swan Lake.

Anyone can get the music score of Tchaikovsky's Swan Lake from any decent music shop. Foyle's Bookshop in London, for example, or Chappell's music shop also in London, would be likely to stock the music score of Swan Lake. You go to the music floor, search for composers alphabetically, look for Tchaikovsky, and there should be the score for the Swan Lake ballet. There may be two different scores - a full orchestral score or a "piano" score (a shortened score). Or you may search the Internet, which may give you many sites from which you could order the score.
The DVD of 'Swan Lake' by Tchaikovsky performed by Margot Fonteyn and Rudolf Nureyev can be purchased from Amazon. Alternatively the music can be downloaded from iTunes.
so far I have not seen the film/movie, but I believe from my own knowledge of the story line and from going to see the ballet that the music from the music box is one of the pieces from the original ballet composed by Tchaikovsky himself. These pieces were fitted for the story line, you can watch some of the dance performances to them on youtube, but his pieces are most likely due to the recurring theme of the black swan/swan lake idea and also because of the popularity of the swan lake music for music boxes.
It's from Act II of Swan Lake
