The short answer is maybe most people who play them prefer hard rock or metal. Not to mention that it is the coolest instrument to be seen playing. As for the long answer...
Electric Guitars produce an entirely different sound than acoustic, though some people like the sound of an acoustic and buy an electric acoustic for amplification, generally for performance or for the use of adding effects to an acoustic sound. Electric guitar strings are more designed for pickups to "feel" their vibration and create less sound so that the vibration can be detected to an amplifier and not heard acoustically. The end result even without too much amplification or effects on either type of guitar is very different.
Rock is better, if you prefer faster music with more electric guitar. Country is better, if you prefer softer music with more acoustic guitar. Both rock and country are great music genres, but which one is "better" is just an opinion.
I have an ec-1000 (w/o Floyd Rose) and it's an excellent guitar. Just keep in mind that it comes with active pickups, as some people prefer passive pickups. It's also important to consider whether you want the Floyd Rose bridge or not.
If the question is is it harder to learn to play one guitar THAN it is to learn to play several different guitars at the same time, then in my opinion, it is easier to learn to play by using only one guitar. Start with a 6 string guitar, maybe an acoustic guitar. Get used to that one particular guitar. Then graduate to another guitar, same acoustic type but larger. The frets are the same but the feel is different. then go on to an electric guitar. I've played piano for a long time and I've learned to feel the vibrations the sounds create. Same with the guitar. I need to feel the vibrations. The electric guitar doesn't give much vibrations; so, I prefer the acoustic. Graduate to the base guitar (different guitar altogether). Now it's only 4 strings (unless you're adventuresome and go with a 5-string . . .) Maybe this explanation will help.
Some people tend to think classical music is more "intelligent" or such than others, and they want their children to appear as such.
You just need to use a guitar pic in a correct way to make your guitar sound loud. Prefer the sharp side of pic and try to hit strings at a greater angle say 75 degrees while playing guitar. I can assure you this will help.
Electric guitar lessons are not typically given over the internet. A qualified musician will prefer to give lessons in person so as to hear and see the student's performance.
Well, it depends on what type of genre of music you want to play. The Electric Guitar works as a well instrument in many rock genres, including Classical Rock, Hard Rock, and Metal. However, a Jazz Guitar also has some cons and pros to! A Jazz Guitar can play Blues, Jazz, Classical Rock, mostly Oldies. However, a Jazz Guitar can not be as loud as a Electric Guitar. Depending on your type of genre, I would prefer an Electric Guitar, which could play almost all genres. Enjoy playing!
Well a lot of people prefer Acoustic guitar and to start with since your fingers will harden quicker but I started with electric and Im perfectly fine. I also like that sort of music- like Avenged Sevenfold, Guns N' Roses and other rock/metal bands. So it can also affect on what music you like/ like to play.

That's not really a valid question because some people will prefer to be around people and others will not. Everyone is different but for the people that prefer to be on the own its most likely to be because they prefer to entertain themselves or may feel intimadated by other people for fear of them being better than them etc.
The connections for electric guitars vary between musicians. Some prefer corded instruments because of their reliability and clarity of sound, but wireless connections of a high quality can be just as effective.
Alcohol was less likely to cause gastrointestinal distress.
That technology is taking the place of human interaction
