Min Pins are very curious dogs, which comes from their breeding as ratters - they love to hunt and explore. The answer is you can NEVER trust a min pin and need to ensure they are always in a secure area.

Min Pin's are a very Loyal small dog that think that they are greater then they really are. They might become very controlling but all you have to do is show them who is the boss. They are very small and loyal/ obeying, they try to please their owner. Min Pin's are a good dog to have. I have one and we have a porch and we live on a main road and my dog Ginger with no leash would listen to me so she wouldn't run off, very loyal.
A Min-Pin can start their first heat cycle as early as 4 months old. The Min-Pin stays in heat on average for 2 to 4 weeks and the heat cycle occurs twice a year.
