Back in the day when penny candy was two pieces of candy for one cent, Jolly Ranchers "wine candy" only came in a few flavors like green apple, grape, and cherry. if you looked at the candy near a light it looked similar to the colors of bottled wine, grape, cherry, and a yellowish clear version of green apple. Thus when someone was buying penny candy at the store when there was a lot of candy to chose from and you did not know the name of the candy but, you tried to describe the candy to the person that was selling it, it was often stated the one that looks like wine flavors,...thus wine candy.

How do you make a candy tree?

add megan hockin to a fat cow including jamie smith and will sutton to make a giant human gingerbread will sutton 10mb ALRIGHT LADIES!!!!!!!!!!!!! Coadred77: well that isn't correct first you put sticks into a huge stack and the Jolly Ranchers should be jabed right into the sticks. After the sticks are infused with the Jolly Ranchers then you put melted marshmallow into the sticks then stack them into a tree like form. The marshmallow should be un-melted and now sticking to the stick, Jolly Rancher tree and it should be able to grow into what we call a skittles tree. Just make sure you water it with pancake syrup.... I didn't and well the tree wrecked my house. There was Skittles every where.

What do they call cotton candy in England?

Well darling, in jolly old England, they call cotton candy "candy floss." It's basically sugar spun into a fluffy, colorful cloud that melts in your mouth faster than you can say "cheerio." So next time you're across the pond, make sure to ask for some candy floss and enjoy the sweet treat!
