Christian Payton "Paul" sang all of his own parts, Terron Brooks "Eddie Kendricks" sang some of his parts, and I think the guy who played "Melvin (Blue)" sang some of his own parts but it was hard because of the low voice he had to portray. i know leon can sing he has his own band i listen to him on u tube check it out sings great.

I think it was the actors themselves. I say this because: (1) the credits do not indicate otherwise, and (2) I read that the actor who plays Eddie originally tried out for one of the other roles, but was selected to portray Eddie because of his great falsetto voice.
