The person who discoveres the method/technique of screaming withot herting yourself was Melissa Cross. She now has her own vocal studio and teaches any form of vocals. When people ask her what she teaches, she says anything passionate. You can take lessons from Melissa, they are $300 per hour and her studio is in New York, you ust book before you go for the lesson, you cant just turn up.
If you cant go to new york or you cant afford it, Melissa has made two DVD's called the zen of screaming and the zen of scraming 2. The first is more about generalized vocals, warm ups and so on.
